Ok I definitely do not understand the instability rule and I have my first game using my Daemons in 2 hours so please help me out.
The codex doesn't mention going "poof" and disappearing - just taking damage. But I have read many references to going "poof" so I am totally confused.
When, if ever, will my daemons disappear? they take damage instead of running or what?
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone

Daemons used to go 'poof' in the Hordes book, when they rolled above their normal LD.
This is now ballanced out with lower LD, but Daemons don't go poof now.
So, it's Breaktest on modified LD, what you lose by, is the wounds you take.
if you would be testing on insane courage in a normal break test, do you still use 2 as the minimum. you lose combat by 15, roll a 4 and only take 2 wounds?
