Right i haven't played in about 2 years and loads has changed. I was looking on the games workshop website and saw theyve made the daemon armies specific to just daemons which is cool! i went straight out and bought the codex for 40k and fantasy and some plastics.
However im slightly confused as in the warriors of chaos i used to have you could only field a god specific unit if you had a god specific hero. is it the same with the daemons. sorry if that is all wrong but im trying to remember as much as i can.
Also i am aiming to host a mainly slaanesh army but ive found most people feel an army with two gods is best. which other god complements the dark prince
feel free to mix everything EXCEPT: a nurgle herald may never join bloodletter and such. but a herlad of khorne may join a units of bloodletters =)
Blood for the Blood God!
The first thing you need to do when starting DoC is to forget every rule that ever applied to them in the past. DoC is a new standalone book, no other rules in other books past or present has any bearing on the matter.
The only restrictions based on gods is which units a hero can join. You could techincally have a nurgle, khorne, tzeentch army with a Keeper of Secrets as your general.
The only honorable options left to we combatants is seppuku or semantics...which amount to the same thing really.
