Daemons of Chaos FAQ
It's Adventure Time!
2010 'Ardboyz Champion
1. Gah. They hit the standard of Sundering with a nerf stick. Or actually spelled out what it does and doesn't work against. Sad day that it can't be used against IoN or Gut Magic.
2. Glad that they cleared up the Master of Sorcery issue. I have a feeling a lot of people are gonna cry about that one, glad that I erred on the side of caution.
3. Good to know that Glean Magic can only be dispelled once.
4. Also glad that they cleared Siren Song up.
5. Interesting to know that Skulltaker could join a unit of Daemonettes if he wanted to.
All in all I'm glad they got this faq out so fast, clears up a lot of confusion about big issues.
Things that remain unresloved:
#1. Torment Blade +1 attack bonus issue.
#2. How do things like Juggers or Palaquins count for ranking up in foot units.

The only honorable options left to we combatants is seppuku or semantics...which amount to the same thing really.
It does help clarify some things, im just glad I was right about stupid master of sorcery.
not much went to the "favor" of daemons.... I was hoping the firestorm does 3d6 instead of 2d6...
With all the Khorne/Tzeentch power lists seemingly going to GT my High Elf Dragon Prince list seems very tasty now that the spells from tzeentch are flaming too.
The daemons didnt need the faq to go in their favour, its easily the most powerful codex around at the moment.
That one is a shortcoming ov coverage in the core rules that affects several current army books. Hopefully it will be addressed in an update to the core rulebook FAQ eventually.#2. How do things like Juggers or Palaquins count for ranking up in foot units.
Largely I've been playing the army 'as intended', if not intentionally - although I felt that MoS granted access to the entire Tzeentch lore, I'd never actually used it. I feel that most of the spells just aren't up to the task for a level 2 sorcerer, and a given BRB lore often looked far more effective against a particular opponent than Tzeentch magic (Metal vs Empire or Dwarfs, for example).
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone

I am not glad at all with the answers as stealth said (except sundering), Demons dont need a boost in any way. Sundering was already a less than optimal choice so it didnt change much but siren song did clinch its spot as the number 1 worst item of 7th ed. If you take that item you have aleay decided that you do not want to play warhammer and dont care about your opponent.
