Looking through the 40k section I found a few useful Tactica's for Deamons, which being a (Semi) new army is fairly helpful to figure out what works and what doesn't. Then I jump to the Fantasy section (WHFB being by far my favorite of the two) and the closest thing we have is people posting lists that do sorta well.
I bet if all the experienced players here pooled together we could get a great Tactica with unit breakdowns and how everything works.
So is anyone up to the challenge? I'm far from capable of doing this yet, I'd have to play extensively with everything for a few months to even want to start it, but I'm sure some of you here can give it a go.
I think we could do up a good Tactica, I'd be happy to contribute for Khorne/Tzeentch mixes.
I'd like to contribute as well, on the topic of using Nurgle with Khorne. This will depend on spare time, though, so I cannot promise anything.
Sweet we got volunteers, take as much time as you need Leaf, making them good and proper is important and I know many people have busy schedules.
The problem is that Daemons are so overpowered compared to most other army books the issue is not how to use Daemons most effecively but how to remain competitive while avoiding the uber cheese.
Wear a cup.
I think I could help as well, Khorne probably best area for me, but Nurgle is also viable. Is it possible to make a section where we all could contribute to one document, and also making a thread where we can discuss conflicting opinions?
Anyone got any idea when this may be up and running?
I'd love to see a great tactica on how to and what not's.
Main issue for me at the moment is Bloodletter units; i see alot of people on the site use them in 10's, maybe 12's.
But when i ask people at my store they always say to run 20 strong, and it usually throws me :s
They don't know what they're talking about
Bloodletters are expensive and paying all those points for ranks simply isn't worth it. Run them 6 or 7 wide to get as many attacks as possible, ranks beyond the first is gravy if you can afford it.
As for a proper tactics, I'm going to start working on one for 40k Daemons, but I'll put some thought into a Fantasy version as well.
Are you talking to employees who are trying to get you to buy another box of Bloodletters or other players? I would suggest running them in blocks of 12 or 14. Either 6x2, 7x2, or 6x3 with a Herald on Juggernaut.
As far as the tactica part I don't think I should write anything up as I have yet to play an actual game with my Daemons but I would like to see some ideas from some of the veteran Daemon players.
