Skarbrand seems on paper to be very powerful, but also as expensive as the single most flexible wizard in the game, Kairos Fate-Weaver. So do you think he's worth the points and would you include him in your army? Feedback wanted and appreciated.
I'm a bit leery of his hatred helping the enemy out as well, otherwise he seems like a solid pick.

actually id say its more of a help to demons actually because as a general rule they will have a higher ws and thus will benefit more, getting closer to that seemingly unreachable full unit hit!. on the other hand of course a re-roll will benefit the enemy bbut not as much as they are still fighting an unbalanced battle. concluding id say that means that hatred is better the higher ws you have. have fun with Skarbrand then!
But wouldn't having a higher WS mean you are going to hit a lot easier and making it harder for your enemy, meaning you will be rerolling the few you dont make while they will be rerolling alot more with more chance of hitting and with Bloodletters for eg theyre going to be owunded alot easier also.
Imo, Skarbrand seems cool and can be fun to use, but personally I'd rather just tool up a normal BT and use that.
i suppose. it depends who their facing really. if the bloodletters get the charge it will be a massacre, but if they get charged by some kind of heavy hittimg unit, like say ogres, itll hurt a lot. but if you had no choice would you take Skarbrand or Kairos? btw id probably just tool up a bloodthirster as well. whats ur best bloodthirster combination?
