Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well i've seen many cheesy 2k lists with 4 units of 5 fleshounds.
But my question was:
Is it possible to run units of 4x10 and split them up in the first turn to have 8 units of 5?
That 'll cost 1400 pts but if it's possible it's a lot of fun(maybe not competive but just fun ).
Thnx in advance!
No can do I'm afraid, stick with 4 units of 5 for now

Well, too bad would have been fun though
It can't be done, because there is no such rule. You're stuck in the Marine world of 40k i think
Well actually not (Never looked in a 40k book before and i'm not planning to for the coming 2 years ).
I just never looked trough the rulebook movement very properly(just learned it while playing).
I must admit the thought of 4 units of flesh hounds gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. The fact is they are as powerful as Chaos Knights (and cheaper) and are pretty quick. I have a 2000pt daemon list with a unit of flesh hounds, maybe its time I got some more.
Basically life sucks, there is only war and you're probably gonna get eaten by Tyranids, have fun.
