The general consensus at my local shop is that B****ing and moaning will ensue if i do a mixed god army. So, i decided that though for tourny purposes I will do a mix list, but for the local shop I am going all Khorn.
My question is what are the perks, if there are any, of choosing a Daemon Prince over a bloodthirster, besides the perk of everyone throwing a little bit less hate your way.
Also on a side note, what are the requirements for a Daemon prince model? since there isnt one offered by GW I was wondering if it came down to base size, and what that size was. Thanks in advance.

Pretty much the only pro of a Prince over a Thirster is that the Prince is cheaper. Really, the Thirster is better in every way. I don't think I have even seen a list with a Prince in it in Fantasy, to be honest. In 40k they are pretty good but they kind of missed the boat in Fantasy. They are modelled on a big base, the one for Bloodcrushers, Fiends, etc.. Sorry, don't know what the size is on those. Hope that helps.
Well besides being able to mark your prince and bieng able to up grade him to a level 2 wizard he has a greater range of upgrades (if you include the greater daemon gifts when his marked) so has greater verstility and even upgraded to the max can be cheaper than a bloodthrister when upgraded
obivesly he isnt as killy but he can fill a number of roles and when upgraded to even lvl 1 can contribute to you dispell pool
but you lokking at a 50x50 base last i recall

The DP is cheaper, isn't a large target and can get magic. Other than that, the BT is worlds better.

On the other side of the scale. 2 Heralds are probably better than the DP anyway.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
2 heralds are mch better in most armies, but in a pure khorne army you want to go with the bloodthirster (I assuming you would mark your DP khorne). They end up performing the same role when marked, and in the end you just get more out of a BT in combat and in magic defense.
Of course, if your just going khorne to appease people in your local shop, you army choice isn't the issue here, it's the people who whine.
I say play mixed in shop if you want, and tell anyone who says anything that the next time you play you'll take kairos instead.
The bloodthirster is much better.People will not cry cheese if you use him and he can cotribute to your dispel dice pool but that is pretty much it. The belakor madel is a deamon prince( in the collectors models part) They used him in that game daemons v lizardmen
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
