Avoiding the standard lists of many many Pink Horrors and flamers, is a purely Khorne army viable?
Blocks of Bloodletters, Flesh Hounds on the Flanks and a bloodthirster as the general.
Just wondering as the typical Tzeentch heavy armies suggest that alternatives not as useful . fundamentally flawed
It is certainly viable. You will have a weakness to magic and the great standard of sundering would help decrease that weakness. Collar of khorne on the blood thirster is also important to keep it alive. You can be overwhelmed by magic but every army has its weaknesses.
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
Will the collar stack with the Bloodthirster magic resistance? or will it replace it?
the rules say it replaces..
And a weakness to magic, when you have magic resistance on everything?
If anyone believes on telekinesis, raise my hand!!
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
Obviously a mono-god list has more pronounced vulnerabilities than a skittles list, but even then you're still playing daemons and with a well built list those vulnerabilities are too narrow to be exploited.
Khorne is vulnerable to magic and shooting for 1 or 2 turns, by the end of 3 a well built khorne list should've already murdered its way through most of your army and any surviving mages are ducking challenges for dear life.
