Hey guys Ive looked around here but cannot find a definite answer to this question so here goes...

I want to make a herald of slaanesh on a steed of slaanesh. can i use the model from warriors of chaos slaanesh lord on demonic mount? I will replace his arms and head with daemonettes arms and head. the problem is the base it comes with is for a demonic mount (multi wound) and there for has a 50mm base. am i able to just get a cavalry base (25x50mm) and BAM steed of slaanesh? Im not sure but it should be able to fit on it . I love the model and it has a banner which is also helpful as s/he is going to be my BSB! what do you guys think?

I would think that should work out just fine. It'll be a fun conversion getting those Daemonette arms on there

The 25x50 base should work out just fine, if it overlaps just a bit on the sides, it shouldn't be a problem, considering GW's models do that all the time i.e. Skulltaker should be on a larger base, or be made a bit smaller, he's impossible to get into a unit.

Anyways, make sure you post images when it's all done, and a WiP too.

I swapped the 50x50 mm base for a 50x25 mm one on mine and it fits. The boob steed exceeds the cavalry base a little bit in the center thought. Fortunately, it still fits nicely with any WoC infantry or cavalry I have (I don't have daemons, but I am sure it fits as the exceeding part will be in between two infantry models).

Thanks for the info guys! sounds like ill change the base to a 25x50. I prob wont have him in a unit as I was planning having him use the banner of despair and mount to solo around the board and drop enemies LD where needed. this + the masque of slaanesh and a keeper of secrets lev4 wiz and ill win for sure! XD

the onli prob is between my expensive lord and hero i dont have much points for core

. for my 2k army its like 1 unit of 20 daemonettes,2 units of 10 daemonettes and 2 units of 2 fiends.

im buying him hopefully tonight for the weekend and ill try post some pictures once im done!
