    Here we go.

Long time lurker in fantasy dabbles.

Been playing 40k daemons for about a year now. Took 4th at 'ard boyz semi finals for 40k in green bay. I have a thread on it over in the Chaos Daemons forum.

Have kind of learned the 7th edition rules. Now waiting to play and learn until the isle of blood box set comes out.

But anyway, when I purchased my daemons I put every model on square bases that I could. (I bought some used and was only supplied circle bases).

What I managed to get on square bases are:

    Fateweaver
    Blood Thirster
    Great Unclean One
    Keeper of Secrets
    Herald of Slaanesh on Chariot
    Masque
    Skull Taker on Juggernaught
    10 Pink Horrors
    10 Plague Bearers w/ Command
    30 Blood Letters w/ 1 command
    18 Daemonettes w/ 1 command
    20 Flesh Hounds
    4 Fiends of Slaanesh
    3 Flamers
    4 Blood Crushers w/ command

I figured this was large enough, and didn't bother to put the rest of my army on square bases. But I do not really want to buy anything new. When the new host comes out I will be purchasing a box of blood crushers, box of seekers, and the changeling model. I know everyone wants to use 3x10 horrors, but I think I should be okay with fateweaver right?

Any help for the right direction would be appreciated.

You seem to be pretty well stocked for a mixed list involving any of the Greater Daemons. Fateweaver is overkill in the new edition (he always was but you know what I mean) and the same function can be performed by a Herald with MoS or a LoC who just knows all the Tzeentch spells. I would recommend more plaguebearers and more pink horrors. Also a couple of heralds for both just to round out the collection.

I don't see why not. Only get more if you want to make a mono list and find you don't have enough of a core choice. Shouldn't be a problem if your maxing out your lord choice.

1 thing I noticed going back over your list. How did you end up with just 3 Flamers? Don't they come in blisters of 2? To fill out a rare choice of them I would suggest 3 more but that is the only thing I can think of that you are missing.

Don't like it that much. The disc doesn't add much to the herald's capabilities and it makes him an easier target. Just stick him in a unit. If you want more movement give him winged horror. In the new Ed. the herald is going to have some good usefulness as a sole spell caster knowing all of one lore. On top of that the blue scribes are gonna be sweet and more than twice as useful.
