Hello to all, decided to get daemons here is my first tournament 2250 list: 25% -562.5
Bloodthirster: Armour of khorne, collar of khorne, immortal fury and axe of khorne - 530 points - thinking: here is a a great smashem greater daemon you cant go too wrong with. with fly, 2+ AS, 2+ magic resistance, re-rolls to hit and killing blow. We have a very hard to kill 5 wounds, 7 attacks with re-rolls monster of doom
Herald of Khorne: firestorm blade and armour of khorne - 140 - thinking: He will go with a unit of bloodletters, 3+ As and st 7 with killing blow, he will be my mini bloodthirster there to take on any challengers also bestowing hatred to his unit
Herald of tzeentch: Disc, flames of tzeentch and spellbreaker (D-scroll) - 185 - thinking: he's my only wizard, dangerous in this sized game I know, he will be used as the magic missile caster and with flames should be able to dish out quite an amount of damage. hard to catch on a disc.
Herald of Slannesh: BSB with standard of sundering, etherblade - 215 - thinking: He will bestow Always stikes first into my daemonette hoard, provide magical support with -2 to cast, 4x att with ws and I 7 going first, possibly with re-rolls to hit, no AS allowed and re-rolls on stubborn leadership 8
(sub total 1070 for lords and heroes)
Bloodletters: x20 full command - 270 - thinking: they are bloodletters, not much to think about here they rock, slash and burn - will put the herald in possibly make a second hoard hmmm not sure

Daemonettes: x30 Full command, standard of sleeping decay - 415 - thinking: we will have a hoard of stubborn/ steadfast LD 8 and a BSB re-roll, with always strikes first and I 7 meaning possible re-rolls to hit (if the opponent is low I) with 40 attacks and re-rolls to wound with armour piercing a well, there to take on the brunt of another hoard etc
Flamers of Tzeentch: x6 (1 is pyrocaster) - 225 - thinking: they will be my shooting, to occupy weaker units and hoards and whittle them down also to support the lack of magic with some range
also thinking of instead of flamers 3x bloodcrushers, however looking at balance another combat unit may not be what i need
considering dropping the herald of khorne for a second LVL 2 wiz hmmm
and possibly dropping one unit of bloodletters for plaguebearers
please let me know what you think
I assume your tzeentch wizard will be running around on his own which makes him vulnerable. Bolt throwers will make quick work of him i believe..

Couple things I noticed is that your Bloodthirster will only have an AS +3 (armor of khorne replaces the heavy armor, doesn't stack it) The Daemonette unit cannot have the standard of seeping decay for reroll to wounds (its a plaugebearer only magic banner) So that highly effects the killing power of them. You also mentioned the daemonettes are stubborned im amusing off steadfast and not banner of ecstasy, otherwise your over pointing the unit which gives you more to flex around.
I would recommend dropping the disc on the HoT and just add him to a flamer unit. (it slows it down to movement 4 from 6 but protects him and still gains skirmisher.) Drop firestorm blade 25 pts is not worth +1 str and you can ignore most regen with KB except on monsters, but really your bloodletters can make short work of monsters generally.)
Shrink the daemonette size down to 20 as well and just use them as flankers or harassment to gun units, possibly adding Siren standard so they cant stand or shoot your charges with them.
You can fudge the extra pts around to either add a unit of Crushers, or a couple single fiends to use as screens to cannons for your BT to charge diversions to stall enemy charges.
