What do you think is the best CC HQ option we have?

Ive gone with a custom archon. Though i believe for all around Vect is the best option we have, since he has everything a custom archon will have (agoniser, shadow field etc) plus more (agoniser is 3+, obsidian grenades etc)

againsty T3 armies though id say lelith is the best option, she just becomes worse as the toughness increases.

This thread is invalid; the correct answer to your multiple choice isn't listed. 6 attacks when not charging, crazy WS and I, preferred enemy, and a power weapon that always wounds on 3? Vect, please! Not to mention seizing the initiative on a 4+ and a pretty snazzy gun that restores wounds.

Edit: Barring the addition of Vect, I'd have to say a custom archon with Agonizer is probably the all around killiest, especially for the points.

Vect hands down. The only thing keeping me from using him is his cost.

Custom Archon. Good compromise between hitting power and cost. Easily kitted to fit with whatever unit you decide to put your archon in. So I'd say this is our best option.

There might be more killy alternatives but that doesn't mean they're the better choice.

Lileth isnt really a good all round one. She is pretty bad against high toughness enemies. She may reel off a load of attacks, but T5 and above she needs 6's to wound them. Even with her average 9 attacks, thats still going to equal 6 hits and 1 wound. Not really amazing.

For pure killyness I vote for Vect, but he's very expensive. So if we want effectiveness, I think a custom archon or perhaps Lelith or Sliscus is the most effective, though Lelith isn't very all-round.

Vect, but only in lists of 1850 or higher.
