Blaster Trueborn and Archon split up. Trueborn go hunting tanks and the archon go slaughtering Hq´s on his own. If he's in a pinch the trueborn can soften up any unit he wishes to engage.

The unit only shares a Venom to get across the table.

i still put 9 incubi in a raider with klaviex bloodstone and onslaught every game i've used them in so far they've never once dropped. Archon with Huskblade, Soultrap shadow field and im done, but this is cause i havent built models for the court of the archon yet, i got ur-ghuls and sslyths made but the others im only partially through when i have made them i shall post how they go compared to the incubi

I'm very curious to see what you've done for the Court of the Archon models.

I assume the s5 comes from pain tokens and charging?

Also, FNP isnt removed by AP3 weapons, it is only removed by anything that can never be saved agains, ie - power weapons and ap 1/2 weapons. ap3 can be saved against by 2+ armor so even if it armor pierces you still get the FNP roll.

Bloodbrides. Start with 6 Bloodbrides, give them TWO shardnets & impalers, and run them with an Archon w/ an Agoniser, Clone Field and Ghostplate Armor.

Not too expensive. The combination of the Archon's high WS, the shardnets and his clone field make him really hard to hit. Add more Brides, another Wych weapon, Combat Drugs, Haywire Grenades, and switch to shadow fields if points allow.

i have been told by my local GW store, that AP3 weapons remove Feel no Pain as would S6 shots! any shooting which is above double your toughness wipes out feel no pain

Further evidence that GW employees don't know what they're talking about most of the time. AP3 does not fall under "AP1 and AP2 weapons, power weapons, and any other wounds against which no armour save can ever be taken..."

Aye came here to post that! It states very clearly in the rule book what ignores fnp, and that is ap 1/2 weapons, power weapons orwounds against which no armour save can EVER be taken. Key word been ever.

You are right about s6 weapons against most DE though, as they cause instant death against T3

I like the Court of the Archon myself. I admit it all depends on the type of Archon I run. Sometimes I'll opt for a shoot Archon and arm him with a Blaster, which is handy. Give him 2 Medusae and 2 Lhameans and mount him in a Venom. Fun and effective firepower. Of course Sslyth are always an option.

But, if i'm going for straight brusing power i'll include 5 Ur-Ghuls. 20 S5 I6 attacks on the charge is not something to discount for 75 points. Plus, they have fleet and FnP. Win, win. After 5 Ur-Ghuls is gets questionable. I can't say i'm a fan of Ssylth, just because there's another magical super mercenary race out there.

Except in the court you have to take one of each alien body guard. In the entry it says 1- whatever amount not 0-3 and such.

Kinda weird rule, I guess makes it so you can't have a group of T5 guys for shooting or a bunch of nasty flamer attacks (possible S7 AP1)... just guessing on this.
