Mandrakes better because off daemons rule?!?!?

Ok so I was going through the new rule book and I have noticed that daemons get special perks like Fear because they are scary well in the GK FAQ they are marked as daemons. So my idea about this if you play against a lot of non Fearless and They Shall Know No Fear, then they are going to be very good at CC when the opponent fails the test and is at WS 1.

I know it sounds like a small gain but I used 2, 5 man squads vs my friends IG infantry horde and these 2 squads reeked havoc along his lines early on and they had 3 tokens by turn 3 they did more for me then they ever have before. on a side note we lost initiative bonus on furious charge. I really think we should give these guys a chance again. ok gonna go make some know

It is the same and they also get immune to fear.

It's not exactly the same, because I'm pretty sure no retreat doesn't exist anymore, so they don't take any wounds if they fail their init check.

But yea, fear is pretty hot.

Yup forgot that. Thanks for pointing it out Bforber. It will take time to get all the rules organised in our heads. Good catch.
