Hey guys, here is my army list just wondering what you think of it, please post comments on what you think.
Heroes Dark Elf Noble Mounted on Chariot
Armour of Darkness
Seal of Ghrond
Lvl 2 Wizard
Core 20 Warriors
Special Cold One Chariot
Rare Reaper Bolt Thrower
Armour of darkness includes a shield, so he cant use a 2-handed weapon with it.
I would probably drop the Crossbow warriors for a unit of 5 Dark Riders with crossbows & musician. It still gives you a bit of the shooting, but on a much more useful unit (can flank, march block, bait charge etc).
I'd also be tempted to drop the Sorceress and use the points on a second chariot to run along with the Noble. Then the extra 50 points to pump the Spearmen up to 25.
Just a thought

Drop the full command on the crossbow warriors, and add shields. You should only take a command for these guys if there are 20 of em, that way they can fight.
Id drop the 2nd unit of spearmen, then get a 2nd RBT and 2nd chariot. These units work the best in pairs, and 2 RBTs in 1000 points kicks butt.
Other than the fact that you cant use AOD and a halberd, its a disadvantage in a chariot, since his save vs shooting cant be improved. Now, heavy armour, SDC, enchanted shield will still see a 2+ save in combat, a -1+ save vs shooting and for about the same, if not less, points. Then, get a lace instead of halberd, since beyond the charge, you're noble's in trouble anyway, and it's a one handed weapon.
Get a dark steed for the sorceress. She can still hide in the spearmen or crossbows, but with increased movement, which can help her hide, get in range, etc.
With the noble fixed, the list, as is, would do OK, and itll depend on how your spears perform. My spears perform best when my RBT's, crossbows and magic whittle the enemy down, and then they finish them off. You wont have as much of this, so positioning is critical.
Good luck, Tim
