Armour of Eternal Servitude
Sea Dragon Cloak
Rune of Khain
16 Blark Ark Corsairs
19 Dark Elf Warriors
Lordling and Standard Bearer
18 Blark Ark Corsairs
8 Cold One Knights
Banner of Hag Graef
1 War Hydra
2 Reaper Bolt Thrower
The corsairs will run in units 6 files wide, and the COK's will run 5 wide. Sorc will go in with the warriors.
you're really putting all your eggs in one big expensive basket. You have no magic defense so a few magic missiles and some shooting will tear that unit apart, if you loose 3 models you must take a panic test... that's almost too easy. If your opponent takes out that unit they've won the battle. Hag Grief banner is a waste on knights as you should strike first on the charge and if a unit that big doesn't break on the charge they've lost anyway. If you have to give them a banner give them the cold blood banner. Sure you're rolling on Ld10 but if you fail that unit is in deep trouble.
I'm skeptical but if it's a friendly game... who knows it might work.
What do you think about dumping a few points and adding null talismans to my lord for that unit?
I personally wouldn't use malus darkblade at all as he is way to overpriced. But if you're willing to stick with the theme then go with it.
I think that you don't need a lord as darkblade being so expensive on his own. You can take a null talisman with your unit champ. But that won't be enough. I think that your list tries to do everything at once and ending up not being god at anything
I actually don't like your list very much. I'll give you advice on how you can change your list to be more balanced.
You have to decide between going magic heavy or defensive magic.
Choosing defensive magic you have to scrap all the characters except for darkblade. Get a lvl1 sorceress with 2 scrolls. A master BSB with the seal and blood armour (great weapon, shield, seadragon cloak). For core use a 24 man warrior unit with shields and standard + champ. the sorceress will be in this unit. One unit of 14 corsairs with champ. as flankers. One unit of 5 dark riders with crossbows and musician as support for knights. Special get 6 knights with just the champion and one null talisman (this involves no risk in VPs and you'll still hit hard as darkblade will be with them.) a unit of 14 Black guards with full command, hag banner and crimson death. Have the master BSB join them. One unit of 7 shades with GWs. For rare youe your current setup of 1 hydra ans 2 bolt throwers. 2000pts on the pt. Except for darkblade this is a very balanced list. Good anti magic and good hitting power.
Choosing offensive magic. Then start by doing the same thing and scrap all the characters. Use darkblade and a supreme sorceress lvl4, black staff, pendant, mounted on a peggasus. This is a very effective supreme sorceress build be aware of small arms shooting and fliers. A sorceress lvl2 woth dagger and scroll in a warrior unit. Warriors should be 24 strong with standard (warbanner) and champ. Two units of 5 dark riders with crossbows and musicians. special use 6 knights with champ with null talisman and darkblade joining them. 7 shades with GWs. Rare is the same, 1warhydra and 2 boltthrowers. also 2000pts on the pt. Not as balanced as the other one but your magic phase should be pretty brutal.
You should never make big units that cost a lot in a DE army. That's just free VPs for your opponent.
