New D.E. player, 2250 test list

Here's a list I whipped up based on some advice from other players, tactics postings, logic, etc.

    Dreadlord- 250 Pts
Heavy Armor, Sea Dragon Cloak, Shield, Cold One, Heartseeker, Potion of Strength

    Sorceress- 185 Pts
Level 2, Sacrificial Dagger, Dispel Scroll

    Sorceress- 197 Pts
Level 2, Darkstar Cloak, Dispel Scroll, Dark Steed

    Assassin- 146 Pts
Additional Hand Weapon, Touch of Death, Black Lotus Venom

20 Dark Elf Warriors- 155 Pts

15 Black Ark Corsairs- 175 Pts
    Full Command

    5 Dark Riders- 117 Pts
    Repeater Crossbows, Musician

    6 Harpies- * Pts

    6 Harpies- * Pts

    SPECIAL
    6 Shades- 108 Pts
    Great Weapons

5 Cold One Knights- 210 Pts
    Full Command, Standard of Slaughter

15 Har Ganeth Executioners- 245 Pts
Full Command, Standard of Hag Graef

    RARE
    War Hydra- * Pts

    TOTAL - 2250 Pts

The Dreadlord rides with the CoK. While CoK are strong shock-cavalry, they don't quite match the power of some units out there like Chaos Knights and Blood Knights. The presence of the Dreadlord, his magic items as well as the Banner of Slaughter could help tip the balance and break whatever unit you charge. One Sorceress rides with the Dark Riders while the one with the sacrificial dagger hits in a unit of Dark Elf Warriors. The Harpies can march block or screen important units like the CoK and Executioners in case you're facing a shooty army.

Tell me what you think. I've never played with Dark Elves before so there exists the distinct possibility that there are huge gaping holes in my grasp of army-building
