Hi you all,
I'm still an unexpierenced warhammer general and seek for your advice.
We are having a little tourney at our club and it envolves 3 missions:
1: capture the centre (counted by biggest unit strength unit in the centre)
2: get as much as possible units in the opposite half
3: Pitched battle
I though to use something is this style:
1 Dreadlord 211 (Joins BG)
SDCloak, Soulrender, Blood Armour, Pendant o K
1 Master 165
HAr + S + SDCloak, Cold One,BSB , 2x Null Talisman
1 Assasin 146 (Joins Spears)
ADH, Rune of Khaine, Manbane
10 R X-bow 110
20 Spearelves 180
2x5 Dark Riders 117
2x 6 Harpies
14 Black Guard 277
Std o Hag Graef
Ring of Hotek
5 Cold One Knights 169
Muso + Std
1 War Hydra
79 Total 1999
My plan is to use the BG unit as main block in the centre: screened by the two harpies. The big block of Spears is there to claim the centre and is supported by the R-Xbows and RBT's
DR's, CoK (joined by BS and Hydra are there to claim a flank and break through.
What do you guys think about this and what will work and what not in your expierence?
I'm a little afraid of my Magic defence: relying on RoH and MR2 on the CoK to protect my best units. I had thought about using 1 scroll caddy but I sacrificed her for the Assasin to add more combat effectiveness to the spears.
This should be in the army list section. Anyway i think drop the assasin for a scroll caddy, your spearman won't kill alot but will win combats with a static combat res. Other then that good luck in your tourney.

Check it out!
Oh, Sorry, I thought the Army List section was here.
Could some admin replace this thread please?
Funnily enough I was in the process of moving it when you posted...
You're taking a big risk with no sorceresses. Against some armies, particularly vampires, you will be in serious trouble. I think you need something to at least take on a few of the big spells (the 2D6 magic missiles, for example).
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
