So I'll be participating in a tourney soon where we need to make a 2000 pt list...and then add 500 pts of "special" troops on top of that. This is to keep special characters out of the game. Before each game, we decide whether or not we deploy the extra 500pts or not...and that decision will affect whether or not we get 2x victory points.
Either way, 2000 pts list is pretty straight forward.
Talisman of P
Level 2 (metal or dark....not sure yet)
Tome of Furion
18X Black Guard
Assassin (going with corsairs)
My problem is with the 500 pts of "special allowance"
I'm thinking that I'll take 2 units of 5 shades with AHW...that way I'll be able to pick and choose whether or not they'll be useful in a game. The big question is....what do I do with the rest....Should I go Executioners, Witch Elves, or COK....I've had mixed results with all these units...but I'm leaning towards around 10 cok...what do people think? What would work best with my list. I go either way really....I think that the extra 500 pts might come in on reserve...so i'm thinking that the COK might perform a little better later on in the game.

If the 500 points will come in from reserve then CoK would be the way to go (Witches would get shot to bits before they took a step), Shades would also be an option since they can move and fire pretty effectivley and they're good if they don't come in from reserve.
