    Friendly Dark Elf List

    I've recently decided to try out a 2500pts MSE (multiple small elites) army list and this is what i came up with. My characters are cheapish (a total of 769pts - about 30% of my army - which i've heard is a good amount) but i think that theyre also dependable. Have a look and see what you think.

    Lords
    Highborn ; Lance, Hvy Armour, Shield, Heart-stone of Darkness, Cold One, SDC, Seal of Ghrond = 258pts

    Heroes
    Noble ; Hvy Armour, SDC, Crown of Black Iron, Battle Standard =140pts
    Sorceress ; Dispel Scroll, Darkstar Cloak, Level 2 = 175pts
    Sorceress ; Wand of the Kharaidon, Cold One, Level 2 = 196pts

    Core Units
    20 Warriors ; Shields, Standard, Musician = 175pts
    20 Corsairs ; Musician = 205pts
    10 Warriors ; RxB = 110pts
    5 Dark Riders ; RxB, Musician = 127pts

    Special Units
    12 Executioners ; Champion, Standard, Musician =162pts
    12 Executioners ; Champion, Standard, Musician =162pts
    12 Witch Elves ; Witchbrew, Chapmion, Standard, Musician = 211pts
    5 Cold One Knights ; Standard, Musician = 172pts

    Rare Units
    12 Black Guard ; Champion = 206pts
    RBT = 100pts
    RBT = 100pts

    TOTAL POINTS 2499
    TOTAL MODELS 116 Power Dice: 7 Dispel Dice: 5

    The noble is there to go in the unit of corsairs which will be nearby the Black Guard. This'll make the Black Guard virtually unbreakable - stubborn with Ld9 and re-roll failed break tests...

    ewww blackguard, take another RBT or a hydra over that. um, you need more banners, larger units, and take the sorceress off the cold one and what standard did you give your noble?

    Yeah i agree about the sorceress. i always put mounted sorceresses on Dark steeds, firstly they are faster, secondly they are cheaper in points, thridly the dont suffer stupidity. I bought the Morathi model and left off the wings. so it just looks like a sorceress on a dark steed. looks great.

    Apart from that i dont see any huge probs.

    thanks. the ONLY reason that the sorceress is on a cold one is that i have that model. beleive me when i say that as soon as i get 6 dark riders my sorceress is using the sixth steed.

    the black guard are there b'cos i want to try them out and in previous battles i have discovered that i need a unit or 2 that can hold out a flank for long enough (all my opponents outnumber me almost 2 to 1 so i need one flank to hold. I dont actually have a unit of black guard so if u think that a hydra would hold better i can change it (me and my friends all have limited budgets so we say that 1 unit can have 1 model and the rest spare bases - every other unit is pretty much completed).
