    2000 Point - Morathi

As the title describes I am growing my current list to 2000 points, and doing so with the addition of Morathi. Not only do I really like using magic, but this is the cheapest 500 point block available. The models I currently own are as follows:

    Morathi 470pts

    Sorceress 192pts
-Level Two Wizard, Seal of Ghrond, Dispell Scroll, Dark Steed

    Sorceress 175pts
-Level Two Wizard, Darkstar Cloak, Dispell Scroll

    20x Warriors 175pts
    -Shields, Musician, Standard Bearer

    10x Warriors 120pts
    -Shields, Repeater Crossbows

    5x Dark Riders 127pts
    -Repeater Crossbows, Musician

    5x Cold One Knights 190pts
    -Musician, Standard Bearer, Dread Knight

With all these units in my list the total point cost only comes to 1449, leaving 551 points needed to make this army legal. I am looking for suggestions on which units to field that would best support the large amount of magic, as well as rest of my current army. Units that I have closely looked at and are interested in fielding to fill the remaining points are as follows:

    Noble
    20x Warriors(Spears)
    10x Warriors(Crossbow)
    5x Dark Riders
    15x Witch Elves
    2x Cold One Chariots
    6x Harpies
    2x Reaper Bolt Throwers
    War Hydra
    Cauldron of Blood

Also any suggestion for improvements on my current list would be a big help. Thanks for your time.

    James

THe army list as it is looks decent. For your remaining points, I'd suggest 2 chariots, 2 RBTs, 1 unit of dark riders (perhaps without RxB's) and a small unit of harpies. If necessary, I'd kill a dispel scroll or some command on the COKs.

I agree with Koosh except I think you'll need more close combat infantry. I'd say a second unit of 20 spears, or 15 corsairs + warbanner.

You would be much better off not bothering with dispel scrolls.. youve spent so much on magic you may aswell rely on the dispel dice, and take offensive items to increase the damage they do & make them worth the points..

I say drop 1 scroll & the seal of ghrond, in exchange for 2 power stones.

    Noble
    20x Warriors(Spears)
    10x Warriors(Crossbow)
    5x Dark Riders
    15x Witch Elves
    2x Cold One Chariots
    6x Harpies
    2x Reaper Bolt Throwers
    War Hydra
    Cauldron of Blood
For this list, i think...forget about the Noble, youve spent a LOT on characters already..
forget about witch elves, they are too frail for a list that is already fielding low numbers.
Forget the War Hydra, its too expenisve for this list. & well, the cauldron is just crap..
Id almost say forget about 10 more crossbows too, but if you did have 2 units, you could put a level 2 in each, take 2 bolt throwers & play a defensive style.. that would free up your dark riders for flanking things.

    Cheers
