With the Nemesis Crown soon underway our store started a Warbands Campaign, which will quickly work up to larger point engagements. I know Elves in general suffer at this level, so I tried to be as well rounded as possible. After seeing the first engagement, which consists of raiding a Beastman party, I knew what to expect from there and forged this list.
(Working army title):
DE Noble (Working hero name): Blade of Spite, Armour of Darkness- 120 pts.
With the low(er) strength of Elves I figured this weapon was a good choice, especially if the Minotaur decided to engage my hero early on. Since I don't believe magic weapons will be a problem I got the AoD, a nice 2+ save will help me out. Expensive, yes, but I like to go Dynasty Warriors on enemies.
9x DE Warriors: RxB's, HW, LA, Musician- 104 pts.
18 Str.3 shots against mainly core troops? Sure. Beastmen and Zombies (Next week) can't stand tiny bolts of doom, so a lot should cover my shooting department.
10 DE Warriors: Spears, HW, LA, Shields, Musician, St. Bearer- 95 Pts.
You need a roadblock, and this one delivers.
The unit I'm most hesitant about, although it can dish out a lot of attacks it's small number could hurt it. I'm deciding about putting the Noble in here or in the Warriors with Spears.
1x Repeater Bolt Thrower-
Total: 499 Pts. (Unless my math is wrong, which happens).
Shoot the Minotaur, kill it, then fire six Str.4 shots into Beastmen bodies. Frankly this war machine is great in low pt. engagements, and I don't feel bad using the 100 to take it.
I don't know what abilities DE heroes can take, but if it's Intimidator I'll go for that, if not, Noble should be fitting. With the extra pts. I'll be getting I'll increase the Corsairs and work on a Dark Riders unit, and maybe some Cold One's down the road.

I'd get a unit of dark riders in the initial list. I figure DE strengths are shooting and SPEED, and you don't really have any speed here. If they can't catch up with you to hit you, GREAT.
Arena of Death Champion: Nexim of the Guldskullz Tribe. Fear my wrath!
Well I was informed that we can only have one magic item, when the other day he said only one magic weapon, so I have to switch around. Dark Riders aren't really necessary in the first engagement, and if I do well I can net enough pts. to grab five of them decked out.
Your units are way too small. Firstly, I think theres a minimum of 10 for warriors and Corsairs. 10 Spearmen isnt a 'road-block', its not even a speed bump. If anything it actually helps the enemy because they can crush that unit & get an extra 'overrun' move.
Take a unit of 20 Spearmen with standard & musician.
I think a cheap Noble in a chariot is a good option for a 500pt list. Just Heavy armour, sea dragon cloak, shield & lance = 86 (+97 for chariot). 3 S6 attacks, D6+1 S5 impact hits, & 3 S4 attacks.
A unit of Cold One Knights would be good, you can get 5 for under 150 without command. Makes for a useful flanking unit which would be hard to deal with at 500pts.
5 Dark Riders without crossbows would also be good for this.
