    New Corsair Weapon Options

Hey guys! I am assembling the new Dark Elf spearhead for a customer, and it looks like the sprue comes with enough weapons to equip the corsairs with either a small crossbow, or an additional sword. So which one would you guys outfit your corsairs with, for the most general role as possible? I didn't get to glance at the new army book before the customer took it, and I will not be able to contact him for a few days, so I am basically relying on your opinion. Thanks!

Quite honestly unless your customer enjoys gimping himself then the extra sword is the way to go, as far as I can see there are very very few situations where those hand bows would come in handy.

in a case like this I would actually do a little of both. When they come out, I'll probably have 15 corsairs with 2 hand weapons since that it so much better, but just for modelling sake and the odd chance that I may use the handbows, I woudl do 5/20 of the corsairs with handbows and usually stick them in the back rank.

t BS 4 with no range and movement penalties and with possibilty to always stand and shoot is worth it's points, since these guys have good anti-fire protection due to cloacks... And are 13 pts. each. That's not that much.

I am strange anyway, as I am planning offensive army based on 4 such 10s with Repeater Handbows.

Double handbows could be fun in the right situation.. if they manage to get around the main fighting (or steed of shadows to get over it?). Poof, their missile/artillery units get 40 arrows on them, and if they want to answer it the corsairs' SDC will protect them.

But assembling them with it without asking would probably anger most of the customers ^^'
