Okay, so I got my hands on the new Dark Elves book and the special character Crone Hellebron shone out at me. I can't be too explicit but she has 6-9 Strength 10 attacks per turn, + 1 if you use CoB on her, and can dispel anything effecting her unit on a 4+. Stick her in a unit with the ASF banner, and I can't really see anything in the game standing up to her. Just wondering peoples opinions?
I think you might be a touch star-struck, but I do think that she is a phenomenal attacking character. You might want to re-read the 4+ dispell. She's still a bit of a paper lion, great offensively, but no defense, unless you strap her to a CoB.
I'm planning an army based around her as well, and currently am waffling between her in a unit of Witches or on a Manticore. I love the changes to the Manticore in this release!
Best Ever? probably not. Super Sweet? For certain!
