G'day just a question for all you DE players. Um with Assasins can they take the same magic stuff from the gifts of Khaine as another Assasin in the army?.. Ie muliple Assasins with the rune of Khaine. Despite the rules in pg120 of the rulebook... gulp...lol.
Also why is the Black Guard- stubborn AND immune to phycology... I just want to know IF there is some fluff to support those rules.. I just don't like facing a large unit of these guys as they hardly break.. ;o( ;o)
Despite us Vampires killing loads of them and look very scary..lol
As many Assassins can take Rune of Khaine as you like. But only one can take Venom Sword or the Cloak of Twilight in an army. The rule is described at the top of the page with the gifts p99.
Well, Black Guards are the most trained of all DE. Also wouldnt you be Stubborn if you had sworn service the the Witch King himself out of fear of him rather then the enemy? :-)
When I was your age Pluto was a planet and Wraithlords had D-cannons! Ah, the good old days!
Thanks Iilyrien! Damn, ah well at least I have given my Lord a host of defense as well as decent armour for my heroes.. I'm going to have to be a bit more wary now..lol.
At least I won my two battles against the new Dark Elves!!!... Yay!!
...JFTR I play both Vampires and D'Elves and I love the fluff for both, I just think that if you had to choose between being afraid of a creature like a Vampire whom you know can be crumbled to dust, and Malekith, who survived the Burning Fires of Asuryan and has been alive for nearly 8 thousand years, not to mention his mastery of magic and his god-forged armor, I think I'm still more in awe of malekith.

20 Bucks. Eat it; Ride it; Hump it. I don't care. - Earl J. Hickey
I agree with Zhaf, thats what it says in the VC army book.
Also Malekith has never faced my Lord...lol. Seriously I have run the numbers and he can easilly kill him.
Lvl3 wiz, Red fury, infinite hatred, beguile, cursed crown, nightshoud!! Cursed book and a sword of might,
I attack him FIRST (nightshoud) with 4 attacks that re-roll missed hits, S6 that can potentially re-roll to wound, Its a magic weapon so he doesn't get his ward save, also I have the red fury to increase the amount of attacks... Plus the cursed book and the cursed crown, just on the off chance he does survive, then on the 2nd turn just take out the dragon...lol
You assume Lord Malekith would even consider fighting such a lowly pest.
And that he'd be on a dragon.
Have to admit thats a nasty Lord........
And never trust Mathhammer.......... I learned that the hard way.
I'm sure he would if this "pest" (lol) kicked the arse of his army...lol
Yeah I know "Mathammer" is just a guideline for me. Though in the few battles I have fought my lord has made a mess of ANYTHING he comes into contact with..
Lol, cause 4 wounds on a Ogre Tyrant in one turn then cause ANOTHER 6 on the turn after that!!!...lol. Black Guard, flank charging cold ones (killed 5 of them so they didn't have the numbers to be flanking me, as the Lord was left)....etc...lol

seriously rules wise Malekith is the worst character ever. Anyone with magic missiles or ASF and magic weapon will easily kill him. But to Malekiths defense though, if the player is smart he'll never engage you in combat. He'll just fly around casting spells at you. With PoD and the Circlet of Iron and the spellshield Malekith will probably severely cripple or even kill your vampire lord in the first magic phase.
Fluff wise even if Malekith have lived a few thousand years longer than Nagash. Nagash is stronger since he alone destroyed the whole kingdom that are Tomb Kings now with one spell. Malekith can't even kill of the Phoenix Kings heir and the HE council with an whole army over several thousand years.
But this discussion is getting a bit of topic. So to the OP:
Yes there can be multiple touch of deaths or hand of khaines in a army simply because they aren't magic items. They are treated the same way as vampiric powers or daemonic gifts.
Suborn results in your leadership isn't modified on brake test and only break tests. ITP on the other hand grants the unit immunity to all effects of fear/terror and panic, but can not chose flee as a charge reaction. So they are two very different rules. Fluff wise stubborn result in their willpower to protect the witch king and their homeland. ITP results in their mind has been hardened through their elite training and to some degree pride and honor.
