Hi everybody im wondering if Mengil Manhide and his men are worth it?
They are expensive but their stats are excellent i thought.
Warhammer - Dogs of War
To find there stats go to the bottom of the page and then follow the links.
Ps also how many should i use
Also do there weapons count as poisoned or dark venom (as in do they use the old dark venom or the new)
Never used them myself, but from what I hear, they're brilliant. Excellent scouts that can dish out lots of shooting pain, as well as hold their own in combat.
As for how big I'd run them, I wouldn't go too much higher than seven. Too many gets really expensive, and can hinder their scout ability.
For your second question, I'd say use the old rules as that's when they were written.

I think they are more effectively used as Shades with Great Weapons. I believe that Technically they use the new rules for Dark Venom, so not as useful as it used to be.

a thread on this already exists, and the general opinion was that they have P.A., instead of the new rules for D.V., since thats what GW had originally intended.
