anyone know of any rules or points costs for these? any reasons why dark elves would not use a horse chariot?--- I have some old dark elf chariots and im not using the dumpty cold ones, so i want to replace them with some elven steeds.
I know it wont be legal , but I still want an optional points cost for this.(just to give me an idea what you people think)
and why the HE love and the DE hate? tiger chariots plus horse chariots-- but we may only use lizards, makes no sense!
I believe that the fluff point is that the dark elf chariot is FAR heavier than the high elf one, having a higher Toughness and better armor save, and thus requires stronger animals to pull it. If you dont want to use it because of the bovine looking cold ones buy an extra box of Cold one Knights and convert the new cold ones to pull the chariot.

There are no horse chariots. But you could conert a normal one, using the same rules for a cold one chariot, I guess...

You could always just use the profile of a Tiranoc Chariot, but replace Speed of Asuryan with Eternal Hatred and the Longbows with Repeater Crossbows.
You'd need your opponent's permission to do it, of course, but the points cost is about right. A Dark Steed Chariot would probably be a teensy bit more effective than the High Elf counterpart, though, so perhaps play a few games and adjust the points slightly depending on how well they do.

all of the new cold ones I buy are going under knights ! -- i cant bring myself to take any of the new guys and put them on chariots , would take almost whole box for both chariots.
is there any fluff reason why dark elves could not use horse drawn chariot though? other than the "weight"?
I will post any adjustments or info I come up with
The dark steeds have a demonic heritage and designed for speed, not endurance. Why develop a new breed when you can beat a large lizard into submission and shove it in front of a box on wheels and let it run rampant?
