Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was just wondering if this was legal since my friend who plays Dark Elves hit me with it last sunday?
A 800 point Executioner unit ( 20 ) with led by a Death Hag who was a BSB with a ASF banner who had 5 + D3 attacks and Manbane. Chewed through my poor little orcs as if they didn't even exist.
800 points seems a bit much for that. Otherwise what you have shown in legal.
Armies: Dark Elves, Black Templars, Tyranids, Iron Warriors, Imperial Guard.
Perfectly legal. The Hag is Frenzied while the Execs are not, so you can lure her out of the unit. She also has no armor.
The whole unit is T3 with heavy armor, any shooting should put the hurt on them.

perfectly legal its actually used by quite a few DE players. although most people consider it cheesy it is extremely weak against the right tactic. Take a lore of metal on one of your sorceress's and aim for the Hag...take her out and the unit will be a walking trash can pretty much xD and as Daemon Guy said...nuke it with shooting and there goes almost half his army although i think 800 pts is inaccurate but whatever!
all good ideas. you could also try challenging the hag. that would require you to make sure you get the charge so you get the first attack against the hag though. like they said, the hag has practically zero protection so if your able to get the jump on her in a challenge you can say goodbye to the hag. im going to have to try out some lore of metal now. it seems like i underestimated it before and seems like it will do well against certain enemies.
Actually challenging the Hag won't work since she gets ASF due to the banner she's carrying and she likely has the Gift of Khaine that gives her extra attacks or Manbane.
Lore metal does not really work against DE, except maybe cold one heavy knights, normally, magic defense is also a strength, but you might get the odd magic missile off. I'd kill everything else in the list and just avoid or redirect this unit til you can get a rear charge off.
Doom divers, fanatics, wolf riders all work well here. Boar and wolf chariots as well.

Must admit i've tried using this combo. I even tried making it worse by taking a second Death Hag with a cauldron of blood making my executioners stubborn and giving them the +1A blessing of Khaine, or the 5+ ward save to protect them from shooting till they are in combat. Its a devistating unit, but i have to i didnt enjoy using it...too much cheese for one army to handle.
Should cost around 400-500 points, not quite 800 with a Death Hag. Any army with shooting would be able to tear this unit up fairly quickly. Dont really consider this unit that cheesy. You are spending almost 500 points in a single unit of 20 that can easily be dealt with by missiles or even magic missiles. Personally I think BG with a noble and ASF are more dangerous for a DE army
I concur about the Black Gaurd doing it better although it is for a different reason, I play HE normally and the BG iniative 6 means they go before most of my units, plus they don't need the BSB with them to be made ASF, aren't frenzied so can't be trapped that easily.
It is a very nasty combo and probably very effective but it has way too many weaknesses to be called cheesy.
