First Army in a few years. Always wanted to start a dark elves army. This is my first 500pts I have painted up the warriors and ill get some pics up at a later date.
Anyways the list!
Sea Dragon Cloak
Basically the plan is to use the warriors brick wall to hold up enemy units. The corsairs will then flank and tear what ever is left to pieces. Master has all that armor so he can stay alive and provide a ld boost for the warriors. Crossbowmen just peck away whatever the biggest threat is at any given time.
Nice to see a tactical and less brutal 500 pt list.
I would have to say biting blade isnt the best option, for 1 more point you could take a beastmasters scourge, it does the same thing but is mundane so can be combined with your shield for a bonus.
If your bang on the points, drop the guard master from the crossbowmen and give your corsair reaver a pair of handbows and the scourge as suggested. ^^
Your biggest problem is if you play an unbalanced army - you might suffer to high toughness and also heavy armoured troops. You could deal with it better possibly by dropping the corsairs and adding a RBT and possibly ring of hotek or null talisman on your master to fend of magic.
Hope this info is helpful for you!
Its a good plan and i will drop the magic weapon from the character.
I'm planing to add RBTs and all the other good stuff later!!!
Thanks for the advice rep for you
If you really wanna make the enemy hurt then a hydra could probally solo this army with a bit of luck. But it might be too overpowered at this level. :p
but you should defiantly get 1 as you get into higher point games coz they are awsome and also sexy looking models imo
-Btw, you should post in the Dark Elf army builder thing and can look at other peoples lists in there to get a better idea of what works and what doesn't, Good luck
