    2000 pt army...any thoughts?

    *Supreme Sorceress
    Level 4
    Pendant of Khaeleth
    Focus Familiar - 335

    Sorceress
    Level 2
    Darkstar Cloak
    Dispel Scroll
    Dark Steed - 197

    Assassin
    Additional Hand Weapon
    Rending Stars
    Touch of Death - 151. * * * Total - 673 *

    Core Units
    Black Riders x 5
    Repeater Crossbows
    Command - 145

    Black Riders x 5
    Repeater Crossbows
    Command - 145

    Dark Elf Crossbowmen x 10 - 100

    Total - 390

    Special Units
    Shades x 8
    Additional Hand *Weapons
    Bloodshade - 154*

    Black Guard x 15
    Command
    Soulrender
    Standard of Hagraef - 265

    Black Guard x 15
    Command - 230. * * * * Total - 649

    Rare Units
    Repeater Bolt Thrower x 1 - 100

    War Hydra - 175. * * *Total - 275 *

Power Dice - 9 (1 extra for Darkstar Cloak) + Power of Darkness
Dispel Dice - 5 and 1 dispel scroll.

Very shooty/movey army, only 2 units will stay back shooting and will be sacrificed leaving the rest of the army to be free to move forward and engage.*

Black Guard and Hydra units will move together as solid core of army and will move straight at the enemies front line, the unit of Shades with Assassin will act as ambushing force for war machines and lone wizards.

*Any thoughts on this, I'm thinking that the direct core of black guard and hydra units would be supported by missile/magic attacks?

Your Sorceress is going to have to go with the BG I assume and will be taking up a spot that will be needed to build CR. A pegasus for her would be a great upgrade.

Your BLACK riders don't need command, especially as xbow harassers with their Impalas. Use those points to give the other BG unit the Banner/Standard of Murder.

I question the effectiveness of a single bolt thrower, but then again its a threat that will hurt your opponent if he ignores it because he doesn't want to send forces to go after a single thrower.

I would consider dropping one of the BG units and getting some CoK's since you will have a rough time dealing with combat heroes/lords in r&f units.

Shades don't need AHW's and a bloodshade is a point waste as well since you can get another shade for its cost. GW's are a decent upgrade for shades if you have the points.

I initially intended the supreme sorceress to hide either behind scenery or in a forest, she would still have line of sight because of the focus familiar, never thought about cutting the command for the blackguard, also considered taking the supreme sorceress with the other unit of black riders and maybe give herthe lifetaker or something, this is still under revision.

I got to say that in theory, I like my LizardMen army that I would bring to bear against you, I like it's chances here. It depends on what spells I draw with my EOTG, but if I get the right 2, I think my Slann alone would have a field day vs this army.
