Recently picked up a cauldron of blood, and hands down, it's awesome. The buffs are great for increasing the kill-y factor of the army. 40 spears with killing blow is dangerous...
Just a quick question though, in what phase of the game do you use the Cauldron's blessings? The last game I played my opponent and I agreed that the blessings could be "cast" during my shooting phase. Had a quick scan of the army book and it didn't seem to specify whether they went off in the shooting or magic...
It's not a huge issue, but I'd like to know for certain for my upcoming game this Thursday. Cheers!

If I remember correctly, the Cauldron chooses its blessing at the beginning of the turn- the same phase when you're checking Stupidity.
This actually helps you- the Cauldron can "cast" its blessing before your targeted unit moves away.
"may use one of the blessings below in their Start of Turn phase, after all Psychology tests are taken"
