Just started a dark elves army (previous lizardmen) so my first models for dark were COK ive painted them but am having trouble with the banner. I can freehand a design but where i struggle is with adding highlights to the cloth . Does anyone have any tips?
well i wanted my corsair banner to be blue. example of painting sheme:
coat of shadow grey, wach with asurmen blue, hightlight with shadow grey. if you want, add another, lighter, hightlight.
my problem is figguring out what design i will use. any tips??
ps. go lizards!
thanks for the reply i know what colours to use but its knowing where to put the highlights and how long to do them.
with your corsairs you could do the octopus/kraken but its not very original. Games workshop has some dark elevs banner designs . For some reason i cant post a link but its under warhammer fantasy articles
I´we checked them all out. but i dont fun anything fun...
now I´m too lazy to post a picture (I need too get both a camera and the model from downstair damnit!)
but i simply do a careful stripe on the raised areas.
I know that sounds basic but that´s how it´s done! maybe I´ll post a picture...
