ive seen a few dark elves builds that mention a reverse ward save what is this ?
Pretty sure its in reference to the pendant which is a magic item that gives your character a warsave that gets better as the opponent's strength gets higher. Something like a 6+ ward against strength 3 wounds and for every strength higher it improves by one - so strength 4 wound is a 5+ ward save etc.
I haven't played dark elves since a month or two after they were released so the specifics might not be quite correct, but that is the general gist of it. I'm sure someone else will come along with their army book in a min and give the cold hard facts!

The reverse ward save refers to the Pendant of Khaeleth, which gives a ward save based on the strength of the attack. You have to roll equal to or under the strength of the attack, a 6 always fails. Eg, You are hit with a S4 attack, to pass the ward save you have to roll equal to or under 4. A roll of a 5/6 would be considered a fail.
