Your Warriors need to be a bigger unit and not just there to soak up excess core points. you need at least 30 models if not 40 for them to be anything more than fodder. This isnt to say you need to have them in horde formation, but you need more. At the moment they cannot soak up ny damage and still remain a fighting force. Look at the size of the units your opponent is taking, and he can raise them even larger.

I would drop the executioners for black gaurd. Generaly more attacks are better than high strength attacks against undead.

I dont see the shades being of much use against vampires so i would drop them.

I would consider taking a LVL4 Sorceress, a lvl2, and a master bsb. Dont know how well your witch worked for you but i prefer master bsbs.

Try and get some spare points and buy an assasin. They are not amazing anymore but the opertunity to take out either his lord or a necromancer is worth it. Against most other armies i would say dont bother, but VC and TK rely heavily upon thier characters and once you start popping them, winning is much easier. It may be worth taking the feadback scroll magic item to cath your opponent off gaurd when casting invocation or if he tries to get a realy big spell off with lots of dice.

Black coach i would spen the entire time shooting it with both bolt throwers if its bothering you that much. If your still not having much luck you might be better off dropping the bolt throwers all together and proxy another hydra.

I'm guessing you were running the Hag BSB with the Standard of Hag Graef in the Executioners?

It's a good tactic, but it's really not worth it as she can be picked out of the unit very easily. Any opponent with half a brain will pick her out in combat, and with T3, 2W and at best a 5+ ward she's not going to be hard to kill. Death Hags are only worth being BSBs if they're on a Cauldron really.

As for fighting VC's, try and assassinate their Wizards by any means necessary, like picking on them in B2B, killing them off with a Feedback Scroll or sniping them out of units with Death Magic. Kill the General first, they then suffer 1 round of crumbling damage before another Wizard takes over. Then kill the next Wizard and then the next until there are none left (so in this case it would be snipe the Vampire Lord, then the Necromancer who takes over the army and then the final Necromancer). The added bonus of killing his Wizards is that he can't re-raise any troops.
