Best way to beat a Coven Throne?

I haven't properly played the new Vampires yet, but have a game coming up against them soon. Last week, a friend of mine was using Daemons against the same guy and looked like he was going to win until he came up against the Coven Throne. It basically tarpitted him until the few remaining models could get on the tower objective in the middle of the board (they were playing The Dark Monoliths of Zhulgozar scenario). The Daemon player was less than amused by this.Needless to say, I have no intention of being taken out by some giant ghost ridden throne and was wondering what the best way to take it out was with the least amount of fuss?

I have the following in my 2400 point army:

    Level 4 Sorceress
    Level 2 Sorceress
    Master
Death Hag with Cauldren of Blood
    40 Spearmen
    20 Crossbowmen
    40 Witch Elves
    20 Corsairs
    15 Black Guard

I'd guess my best bet is to aim the attacks at the Throne given the choice and either spam it with attacks, hopefully not messing up the Battle of Wills, or hit it with some kind of spell that bypasses as much of its defence as I can. Suggestions?

hi. well the best way to kill him is early in the game , id use 20 x-bows whit a bsb whit banner of eternal flame in. end just fire a way . hes big target so u can allways see him.
but bee aware thet when he die he explode give all models ( frend end foe ) 2d6 hitts whit strenght equal to the gaming turn in 12 radius. so there forse id use range , maby some fire spells too seens he got regeneration.

4 Bolt Throwers will happily take care of it.....in fact in games less than 3k 4 Bolt Throwers will happily take care of most things....

I assume that it would use the best I on the profile which is 5, but it might go upto 7 for the Lord riding it. Could hope for Miasma to go off too to reduce the I, but there's always a chance it'd work. I only have 2 Bolt Throwers and they run the risk of Battle of Wills going off. Both good suggestions, anything else anyone can think of?

To be fair, your best bet would be to either nuke it with magic or ignore it. Magic ignores Battle of Wills, but it is still a 5W T5 chariot with a character on top (more often than not).
Also, Battle of Wills shouldn't affect you too much, after all the Throne is Ld7 (unless it's a mount and has Ld10), our lowest Ld is 8, so attacking yourself isn't likely).

An Assassin with Rending Stars/Manbane would help screw it over a bit, and he's Ld10 after all. #

The biggest problem with the Throne is it's ward save in my opinion. Without the ward save, the aforementioned methods would drop the Throne with relative ease.

Also, the Throne doesn't explode when it dies, that's the Mortis Engine.
