heya im starting dark elves and i was thinking what my sorcerer should take and i came across the seal of ghrond and a dispel scroll for magic defense. There must be something i dont know about because why would i spend 25 points to get a dispel dice when i can spend 25 points and just dispel the spell?
The Seal of Ghrond adds a dispel dice to your pool in EACH of the opponent's magic phases.
So, let's see:
If you had a single Sorceress with two Scrolls, you'd have:
3 Dispel Dice in each of your opponent's Magic Phases, two insant Dispels
If you had a Sorceress with a Scroll and the Seal, then:
4 Dispel Dice in each of your opponent's Magic Phases, a single instant Dispel.
That's why it's worth the points, it works throughout the whole game.
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
