    Just started!

Well on saturday I went to my local Warhammer store and bought a Dark elf Sorcerress and a Regiment, I finished building them the same day and I have started painting them. So I was wondering, what should be next?

HA, thats the same thing i first bought!!

Personally i would suggest another regiment (so you can have one spearmen, the other crossbowmen) and some dark riders.

Then your about to challenge the world!!

    Regards

Thats a shame cause dark riders are really cool!!

and i'm pretty sure there's not a whole heap of building to be done with executioners as they come in metal blister packs......i also find that n smaller games executioners draw a large amount of fire....people just seem to find them scary, dunno why though o_0

Yeah warriors require the most building, all the other infantry (executioners, corsairs, black guard etc) are metal and require little more than putting them into the base-slot.
Dark riders are metal & one whole piece, and the horses are plastic but easy to assemble.

My advice is dont buy the mounted sorceress model, its a waste of money. YOu never want a sorceress on a cold one. Always on dark steed.

Get the army book before you get anything else..
(try on ebay, i saved $15 on my army book)

I already got my army book, and sorceress isn't a waist of money in my eyes..... but you may have a diffrent view. I already built her and she was olny $10.50. So I got all the basics before anything else!

Yeah, I'd go for another regiment, dark riders, a RBT and maybe some witch elves, they are the dark elf equivalent of wardancers only female and with poison blades. You're going for a mounted sorcerress? I haven't yet lost a battle with dark elves and I haven't even seen a mounted scorcerress, you already have one on foot so it would be a good waste of say, $20? (Where I come from it's £15, about $19-20.) After this start thinking about cold one knights and chariots, then harpies. You should also get another ero of some sort.

I never said 'sorceresses' are a waste. i said mounting them on a cold one is. I have 2 on foot and 1 on a dark steed.
If you already have the one on a cold one then i suggest buying a dark rider to get the horse, then pull the sorceress off and put her on the horse.

You want a RBT, probably 2. But thats once your army is slightly bigger.

althought they might be expensive and their stats are pretty much the same as a warrior, get dark riders. I didnt start getting them until recently (and i have about 3000pts) because all that time i thought that warriors would be better (more attacks [spears], get way more models for cheaper, more combat reso, and everything else). But they are exelent. give them RxB's and a musician and they can realy sabotage ur opponents plans. Remember: they can shoot in 360 degrees, they can march and shoot, they have M9(18 ). With this movement they can easily get behind the enemy lines to kill war machines, mages or even flank/rear charge your opponents. a flank charge is often the difference between killin or getting killed.

on the other hand, if you really dont want them, dont get them.

    just a thought.
