i was wondering how i could get my mordheim warbands into full games of warhammer, when i glanced at the rules for DoW. And then it hit me! i could use them as dulists. i have always wanted a army with loads of skirmishers and this was it. my most freaquent opponent is lizzardmen and i want something to counter skinks.
1 paymaster: great weapon, pistol, light armour, talismen of protection. (leads dulist 1)
1 hireling wizard: level 2, power stone, lore of light.
9 dulists: pistols, throwing knives, champion.
8 dulists: additional hand weapons, champion, standard bearer.
i will add more to this soon
Out of curiosity, why the odd configurations on the duelists? Pistols AND throwing knives seems to be wasted points, when the pistols alone are your best option. And same goes for the other unit, as pistols count as an extra hand weapon in combat. If you just gave both units pistols, they could both afford standards and a hitman each, and you could have units of 10 and 9, with the unit of 9 led by your paymaster.
Hope that helps.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
sorry i made a mistake. the throwing knives are in the unit with additional hand weapons.
just give em all pistols...go for blackpowder.
