    It's a good generic list on paper, but you might as well be playing empire with a DoW dwarfs unit. A gaming friend runs a list like that, at least he used to. After losing something like 11 games solid, he retired the army and went back to his LM so he could beat us all into submission again.

    I think the key to a good DoW army is complimenting the standard troops with RoR. The problem is, as I see it, that most RoR have rules, formulated in previous editions of the game, which really don't do all that much.

    The friend I mentioned says he has a new list that relies on heavy infantry, but if that list fails, I imagine he'll abandon the army. He also tried CoS from the SoC book, but found that he couldn't win consistently with it. But at least he won some with that army--he's lost every single game with DoW, despite being a smart player.

    Well, I didn't mean to go on such a negative trip, but your list seems pretty status quo. Is there anything you can do to spice it up and exploit its strengths?
