Hi every one, I currently play both vampire count and Dwarf and soon starting Empire, and want to spice up my armies with some Dogs of wars units. The Dogs of war units I have so far are: A Giant, Cursed company. and Ice Queen Tzarina.
Here are some of my questions:
In the dwarf army book, there is a 0-1 Dogs of war entry, is that mean reguardless of what its orginal rule said (count as only special, count as rare + hero, etc.) it is 0-1 in dwarf army that only count as 1 rare?
If i decide to hire a wizard or wizard lord for my dwarf army, can I do that? And if I can. it count as a Rare, or hero/lord + rare?
About the albion mages, Do they count as named characters? What i mean is, in a 2k point game, can I hire 2 truth sayers/2 dark emissaries provided I have 2 hero and 2 rare slots to do so? The idea of having 3 Lord class wizards in a 2k army just sounds too good to pass.
Continue from the previous question, If I am Empire, can I hire 1 dark emissaries and 1 truth sayers? The PDF for the rules didnt say I cant have both in the same army.
How exactly I field Kislev allied contingent? In a 2k game for example, how many core choice I need to field? 3 in main army and 3 in allied contingent? or treat it as 2 1k army and only need to field 2 core choice for each? Or only need to fill 3 core choice combined?
Also, about Ice Queen Tzarina of Kislev allied contingent, can I field her in a 2k game and use her for the lord choice? Also, in order to use her, do i need to field Kislev units or I can just use her??
Lastly, are there rules for Kislev contingent as whole in the Internet? I only by chance find the issue of white dwarf with the rules of the Ice queen and boris, but dont have the issue of white dwarff with the rules of Kislev allied contigent army, and it appears that I need those rules to field enough kislev units to actually use the Ice queen.

There used to be a pdf of the Kislevites on the GW site (Empire pages) im not sure if its still there though- that should answer most of your Kislev questions, although as its an old list (like the main Dogs of War list) it can be problematic linking it with the Empire parent list.
In terms of what is correct ive always tended to think that the most recent book (ie the Dwarf army book) would supercede the DoW pdf so therefore DoW units would be a rare choice for Dwarfs- im not sure how other people interpret this though!

you can only take certain regiments in your army. However, certain characters can also be taken. The characters still take up character slots though. The only way to legally get a wizard in a Dwarf army is to take a truthsayer from the Albion campaign. He takes up a rare (maybe 2) slots and maybe a hero slot too.
As far as getting the Tzarina in your army, I think it's impossible. You'd have to field a 3000+pt army and have tons of Kislev units in your contingent to do so. I'd have to look at the book, but I don't think she can be fielded at low point games. Since the Kislev rules are now not accepted by GW as "legal" rules, they may have removed them from their website. They were up there not too long ago though.
The rules for Kislev are here;
GW Online : Warhammer : Empire : Kislev Allied Contingents
I do not think they are valid for more than friendly purposes though.
While talking about rules, where are the rules for Dark Emissaries and Truth Sayers?
Forget that I found them. WOW they are pretty cool.
