    Characters joining regiments of reknown?

Hey, I was thinking of having my paymaster chill with Long-Drong and his slayer pirates, but I just want to make sure this is legal. I can't find anything that says that you can't do this, but there's something in the back of my head suggesting otherwise. Can anybody answer this definitively for me?

I'm too lazy to come up with a witty sig.

I'm thinking the slayers are unbreakable, which would prevent a non unbreakable character from joining them. For other regiments its allowed, paymaster with the republican guard for example.

yeah you would have to make specific exceptions.

for example, my group allowed Gotrex and Felix to join non-breakable units in order to highlight their mercenary status. I don't remember if the unit became unbreakable or if Gotrex and Felix would remain unbreakable while the unit was not though.
