    Paymasters Guard

Has anyone got any suggestions for models t use as paymasters guard, i thought about empire Halberdiers but they don't really look like they've got heavy armour.

the old metal empire halberdiers look cool, the reiksguard knights on foot (some weapon switching required) or any knight on foot. just look through the catalogue

Pizzaros Lost Legion, with the pikes trimmed and halberds put on the end? That's what this guy in WD did, it turned out good.
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
    He was....The Warrior Poet.......

i used all different models from all different races. the old empire halbrediers look good next to the new ones. the high elves with the halberds, marauders with trimmed down axes, and bretonnian peasent bowmen.

I converted mine using soldiors of the empire peices combined with empire knight cuirasses and helmets, if you use the thigh protection plates from the empire boxed set aswell as adding shoulderpads from the tops of the knights arms then their armour looks fairly heavy allthough not like full plate due to uncovered armsand lower legs.
