Here is my first dwarfs army list!
-2 bolt throwers
-1 organ gun
My main opponents are Dark Elves, Goblins, and Warriors of Chaos. So tell me what you think!
Why is it that nobody ever responds to forum topics on the dwarf forum :C
You cannot make people post, so don't get upset about it.
As to your army, there is pretty much no information for people to comment properly. What runes do your characters have? Equipment? What about your units? Equipment? Do you have full command or just a standard or a musician? You have engineers with your war machines? Any runes?
When you post a bare thread such as this, you cannot expect people to post, nor do you have the right to be rude, demanding replies.
In general, you should be looking to have plenty of ranks and units to cope when your opponent finally gets into combat. Your war machines and missile units should be there to thin the ranks making it easier for you to break them.
Dwarves aren't a popular army. Don't be surprised when it takes a while to get a response. On top of that you've given us absolutely no information about your list. What runes are you using? Do you have full commands in your units?
Having no idea what you've done with your list my only advice is make sure you have engineers with your bolt throwers and dump the miners to put more ranks in your units.

I'm going to add engineers to the bolt throwers, I will get rid of the miners for a cannon and because I realized this list wasn't even close to 1500 points I found that I had room for more ranks in my units of ironbreakers, warriors, and longbeards. For now, this list has no magic items, runes or command units so any advice on that sort of thing would be helpful! Sorry if I sounded like a jerk earlier, I really wasn't trying to
Your shooty units don't need any command units, but I would recommend you ALWAYS fill your hand to hand units up. If you check the stickies in the dwarf forum you'll find a lot of standard rune layouts.
For your thane, give him a shield and a rune of stone on his armor. Then give him a rune of snorri, a rune of fury, and a master rune of swiftness on his weapon.
For your Runesmith you can't go wrong with a Master Rune of balance and a rune of spellbreaking.
Runes are the bread and butter of dwarves. You can do alot of things that other folks can't even imagine. I suggest you take a good look at the The Runic Archive post here: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...c-archive.html (The Runic Archive)
OK, well I didn't mean to be rude either, but I would suggest next time you add more information to your posts, that increases the chance of people replying.
You say the units don't have command groups? That is a big mistake in a dwarf army. Dwarfs don't have high strength, nor do they have large attacks or monstrous creatures or magic to help them. Instead they have dwarfs. You need ranks and command groups in a dwarf army. The average dwarf unit looks like this:
Hand weapon, heavy armour, shield
Full command group
This gives you a static combat resolution of +4, meaning the enemy would have to score four wounds against the unit before it breaks even. Not easy against T4 and a 3+ armour save. So all units should have a full command within their ranks. Though, there are two exceptions. Thunderers and Quarrellers should only ever be given a musician. The standard gives away victory points and the champion is only useful in combat - somewhere these two units should avoid for as long as possible.
Character runes vary though choice of the player, but a good solid choice for both your characters there would be:
Hand weapon, gromril armour, shield
MRoSwiftness, RoCleaving, RoStone
Gives him 3 S5 attacks, and he always strikes first. Then for defence he has a 2+ save in combat.
great weapon, gromril armour, shield
2x RoSpellbreaking, RoStone
This is for anti-magic, the runes are basically dispel scrolls. Along with the 5 dispel dice you have, it gives some protection against magic. He then also has two S6 attacks or a 2+ save in combat and S4.
Thanks for the comments and I'm sorry once again for sounding rude! I don't believe that anyone meant to be rude anywhere in this whole mess
Anyway here's my new list
2X 20 warriors w/ shields & full command 410 pts
1 thane w/ shield. Mro swiftness, Ro Cleaving, Ro Stone 115 pts
1 runesmith w/ 2x rune of spellbreaking & rune of stone 125 pts
2X 10 thunderers w/ musicians 290 pts
12 quarellers w/ shields 144 pts
2x cannons 180 pts
20 ironbreakers w/ full command 290 pts
1 organ gun 120 pts
1674 points altogether! However I am only using 1500 points so what should I cut from the list? I need to cut 174 points and seeing how my opponents are chaos, dark elves, and lizardmen, I'm going to need to keep the runesmith.
I would cut the quarellers out completely and replace one cannon with a bolt thrower with engineer. There's 174 exactly.
