I was so impressed with how my Organ Gun worked in a small 500 PT battle that I wanted to test a 500 PT Gunline out. I wanted to hold onto the Organ Gun as it is my favourite unit so far (even though it has failed on me a couple of times!)
The figures in brackets show what I would do to make it a 600 PT game.
GW 99 19%
10( 18 ) x Quarellers
FC 145 28%
RoBurning 135 27%
Organ Gun 120 24%
Basically I would keep the the GT as far back as possible with the Master Engineer attached. The Organ gun would be placed so it is within range of the enemy and so it covers the dead zone of the GT, and the Quarrellers would support the OG.
Let me know if this list is just terrible, i want to come up with a very warmachine/shooty army for 500 PT games.
I did think that a Cannon with RoForging would be good, especially with its 12" Grapeshot, but I wanted something with the ability to wipe units out quite quickly - I havnt considered Bolt Throwers for this reason.
If you do give advise please bare in mind that I definitely want a Gunline/shooty list.

It is a good list but in the case that your enemys reach your line the quarellers might not be able to hold of the enemy a solution to this would be to spread out your units but then your gunline would not be as affective as it normally would maybe if you remove 1 or 2 runes you could give them a standard bearer which will give them a better chance in close combat but on the whole your list looks good.
Thanks for your response.
The quarrellers already have a full command. Another variant of this list would be to get rid of command on quarrellers, get rid of runes and extras on engineer and Grudge thrower - and simply use another grudge thrower with the Master engineer with 3" of both to apply his bonus to one or the other?
Do you think this leave too big a dead zone once the enemy gets within 12" of my grudge throwers?
Or do you think that with the OG and Quarrellers providing support they would be ok?
If you vs a swarm pack your units close together put the quarrelers and OG in the front with the GT behind them use the warmachines on the large blocks of enemys and your Quarellers on scouts and cav as it is a gunline so make sure you deploy correctly as you should only move a gunline in a worst case scenario if all gos well only a few men will reach your line or none at all make sure your OG targets the monstorous stuff. The variant wouuld be ok unless you are vs fast enemys for example HE and you will have to get some good shots with your GT to pill the tactic off if you do verse HE you do not need to worry about heavy magig as it is a 500 pt game and there wizards are expensive to field the biggest problen for this list would be skaven as they have a varietie of fast and though but with some good rolling and good targeting I think the list will do well hope my advice helps.
I like the idea of a gun line 500pt list no one would really expect it. Like someone else mentioned the the quarrelers lack hitting power when actually engaged. If you can rustle up a meagre 10points from somewhere (maybe reconfigure the runes on the engineer and possibly drop the rune of burning) you can give them great weapons instead of shields which means in combat they will actually do a respectable amount of damage especially with the command group. Just my thoughts
