    2400 Tournament List - looking for c&c

    I will be playing in a 5 round tournament in a couple months. Heres what i am thinking of taking at this point in the game.

    Dwarf lord 298 - unkillable.
    MR of Steel
    Rune of preservation
    Rune of resistance
    Rune of might
    Rune of fire
    Rune of the furnace
    Shield

    Thane 140 - super tough
    Battle standard
    MR of gromril
    Rune of resjstance

    Runesmith 145 - mess with spells
    MR of balance
    Rune of spell breaking

    Runesmith 145
    MR of spellbinding
    Rune of spell breaking

    28 Long beards 439 - general chills here
    Great weapons
    Full command
    MR of grungni

    40 dwarf warriors 385 - tough to chew through
    Shields
    Full command

    10 quarrellers 115 - spare points/shoot down fast cav

    29 hammerers - bsb goes here.

    This guy whilst good, is not unkillable. His armour save is only a 3+, combined with the MRoSteel any S5 attacks will drop your save to a 5+. And with no ward save he is really quite vulnerable. He really need shield bearers for a 2+ save and the MRoSpite to make him truly unkillable.

    Thane 140 - super tough

    Rune of resjstance
    Not bad, a solid start. Consider adding RoPreservation and a RoFire. The first makes him even more survivable and the second option allows him to hit before his GW unit and hopefully drop a unit's regen before you smack them with GWs.

    Runesmith 145 - mess with spells
    MR of balance
    Rune of spell breaking
    Solid choice. Consider a RoStone and a shield to make him even more survivable.

    Not bad, but I'd probably drop the MRoSpellbinding and instead get another RoSpellbreaking or two. I don't think the +3 is in great need.

    Not bad, but I'd prefer to put the lord in the Hammerers, the extra rules (Immunity to Fear and Terror) and stubborn is better. But that is personal choice.

    40 dwarf warriors 385 - tough to chew through

    Drop the shields. You're better off going all out attack and grabbing GWs. The S5 and horde formation you're looking at 30 attacks. Or make then deep ranks for the steadfast. Either way, you'll loose models, but with 40 you can afford too.

    Consider an engineer this, otherwise good.

    I'd prefer to have two RoPenetration. S5 template will hurt a lot of big blocks,
