this is the list i'm planning on making:
1 dwarf thane
12 dwarf warriors
10 dwarf warriors
1 bolt thrower
this leaves me with 25 points to spend on runes and stuff, but since i don't have an army book , i'm gonna have to wait with that. the army can be built with only 2 warrior boxes, a thane and a bolt thrower, and i think it's a good way to experiment with the army and see if I like it. what do you think?
i think u need bigger units,
i ran a 500pt army in a mini campaign recently that was similair to yours except i had two units of 16 warriors with FC and no crossbowmen. my bolt thrower had rune of hitting on 2+ one use only.
worked really well, the bolt thrower could use that rune and take out watever looked nasty when i got the chance, it hit ratling guns, heroes and chariots mainly .
i just dont think 3 units of 12 and less will do as much as 2 bigger units
thats my 2 cents anyway
Yea I agree, you need bigger units. 16 is perfect. Even in a 500pts game, the little guys will goo down fast.
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
He was....The Warrior Poet.......
Fear the ANZAC Clan!!!!!
ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!
Do you have uber micro...????
I could do that, but that would mean i'd have to dump an other unit or buy an other box, which i really don't want to do, because it's just an army for checking if I like them... Leaves me with dumping one unit, but which one?
EDIT: another option is to buy an extra sprue somewhere, so that I can add 4 warriors with shield.. this a good idea?
