Ok here's a list which will be playing the khemri tonight. I won't be using it though, I will be playing the Khemri (Something I do with friends, we write armylists then swap them before the game and play each other's lists)
Anyway I just wanted comments on the list really, all feedback is welcome
Lord - shieldbearers, GW, RoStone
BSB - MRoGromril, RoStriking
Runie - GW, shield, Spelleater rune, scroll
24 Warriors - fc, shields
25 Warriors - fc, shields
25 Warriors - fc, shields
19 Longbeards - fc, shields, RoCourage
18 Hammerers - fc, shields, RoBattle
Cannon - RoForging
Bolt thrower - engineer, Valiant rune
Bolt thrower - engineer, RoPenetrating
2 Organ guns
It all comes to 2300 points exactly
Well I played against this list...and I beat it. Yay!
The list my friend had written for me looked something like this
TP (in chariot of doom)
Two large blocks of skellies
Unit of TG
4 swarm bases
Unit of chariots
The Bone giant was killed turn two by a cannon and an organ gun. Although he did attract all the war machine fire for those first couple of turns, so he wasn't a total waste. Although the SSC was. My guesses for the first three shots were awful, then on the fourth turn I got it dead on and rolled a hit! But I also rolled a misfire and it blew up
My friend was really unlucky on a couple of fear tests, and I generally had the better luck overall.
That said, it was a fun game for both of us, especially since we hadn't played a game of FB for about 3 months!
the list itself was actually very good, you must have played a very good game to win, think its good that you both wrote decent lists insted of just givin each other crap lists.,

Yeah that's always the danger I guess. But we're good friends so it was never really a worry for either of us. Hopefully later this week I'm going to play another game with 'secret' lists. Some things about the dwarf list suprise me. Most of these are tomb kings specific, so if you were trying not to cater to your (self? foe? other army?) then these are all pretty irrelevant.
1 - no ward saves for the characters. Don't know enough about tomb kings to know if they are important. But still...
2 - Seems low anti-magic to take on a typically high-magic army.
3 - no flaming weapons or war machines?
4 - Two organ guns in the same army? ouch. Good against strange deployment units, but seems excessive. Flame cannon or gyro might do a lot of good for whittling down those units.
5 - BSB seems of limited use against fear-causing foes. course he's not exactly fragile as you've equipped him, so not much wasted there.
Hope the lizard fight goes well!
The army is just supposed to be as balanced as possible, I wasn't particularly gearing it to fight Khemri. However you still raise some good points.
I think a ward on the general is now vital, esp as stone throwers do D6 wounds (ouch!)...I've been lucky so far, but mustn't get complacent.
As for flaming. It seems strange how many people associate flaming attacks against the Khemri, when the only things in the army which are flammable are the Tomb Prince and Tomb King. I guess a flame cannon would've been a better choice though.

Anyways Dwarfs are shelved atm, I'm having too much fun with my lizards ^^ I think I'll post some lists for them quite soon, see what people think of my crazy designs XD
