does anyone have it, and if so, do you use it as Thorgrim or do you just use him as a regular hero in smaller games? i was thinking since its the first dwarfs thing i bought besides the army book, i would have to use it for a regular hero for some time, also, what are your thoughts on his fairness? i have the rules from the GW website and it says that he may be unfair or unbalanced

Officially it can only be used with the high king. but if you are playing the war of the beard it is an option for all lords, costs 55 or 115 points I think. You can dowload the war of the beard lists and look for yourself.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.

Aye the only way the model can actually be used is either as Thorgrim, but being a special character not always liked to do. Or it can be used in WoV (War of Vengance/ Beard) but that is only to be used in a certain campaign, so that is the only other ways to use it.
But it does make a damn good centre piece for your army.
