I'm planning to buy the dwarfs as my second army, and i'm gona play alot against chaos (warriors) and the wood elves .. can you guys give me some tips against them?
Thats a tough call as Wood Elves and Warriors of Chaos are very different propositions!
What sort of points value are you looking to collect? And what type of army interests you, gunline? infantry heavy, a mixture?

Chaos warriors will give you no problems if you play a mixed army. guns and axes. woodelves may be a bit tougher but still not impossible.
Uhm, normaly i play with a 2000 point army. And i would like to know gun, infantry and mixed armies :p, becouse i realy dont know how to play with dwarfs atm . I even don't have the army book yet. And my friends think they are invincible with their chaos and wood elves xD
You'll want just enough shooting to force the enemy to come to you, and you'll want enough hand to hand to hit em where it hurts when they do. I field 2 units of 10 handgunners, 1 unit of 12 quarrelers, 1 cannon, 1 organ gun, and 1 gyrocopter for your gunners. 20 hammerers, 20 ironbreakers, and 20 warriors/longbeards for your hand to hand. The hardest thing for dwarves to fight in my opinion is a long range solid gunline, but when you do get there, there will be hell to pay for them. If you're wanting to do an all infantry army you'll need an anvil of doom. If you're going to do an all shooting army...lots of war machines and handgunners with a few quarrelers.
That sounds good, but wont i need thunderers? I thought they are good with their armor piercing shots ..
handgunners = thunderers
Ah ok thanks aloot
