I just bought my first box of dwarf warriors, and dont really have much experience putting together WFB models in general (all the other ones have had slotted bases).
Anyways, I dont have one of those trays yet to put the squads in (for easy moving), but I dont know how much extra space they give you in between models. Alot of them fit directly base-to-base, but there are others that have a few mm in between the bases. So I guess the purpose of this thread is:
A) Should I even worry about this because the trays give a bit of room to accomodate this.
Is there some tip to putting together the dwarf warriors that I just havn't caught on to yet?
Well the first thing I would ask is have you trimmed ALL the bases of excess plastic after being removed from the spure? That is probally your problem.

No, their little axe-arms, and shields, and what have you are making contact before the bases touch.
